Blessed Lord you are my shield. You are willing to shield my mind and emotions . I thank you for counseling me as i follow Your protective Word. I ask you to be a Blessed Shield about me, to cover and protect me and my love ones from the fiery darts of the evil one. In Jesus blessed name i pray amen.
But You, O LORD, are a shield about me.

Is there anything better than the counsel of God's Word? I wish more Christians would understand this! God's Word is perfect for correction and rebuke as well as training up a child's (aren't we all children of God?) heart.
I love these devotionals! God has used them to spark a fire in my heart.
