LORD YOU ARE A REFUGE FOR THE POOR

Great Father,
Tonight you have spoken to my heart how You have a special care for the poor which was illustrated in the deliverance of the nation from Egyptian poverty and bondage and was never to be forgotten by them. You punish the oppressors of the poor and rewarded those who were kind to them. Help me to be sensitive in your ways so i can help be your blessing to another.
You Yourself protect the poor and needy. Those who are downcast or in some kind of distress or have some kind of need. Make me available Lord to be a clean vessel for your holy purposes. Guide me to the right person who needs your precious care. You are a gracious and loving God. Lord you are King over all the rich and the poor. You have no favorites. But i know it matters to you how we treat the poor and downhearted. You are faithful. You never failed to supply all our needs faithful God.
We all are the work of your hands help us to abandon any pride that would prevent us from serving You Holy God.

How can you not just want to shout praises to our great God! Especially this time of year when we celebrate (yes, celebrate) perhaps the most awful event in human history--the crucifixion of the One who came to save us.

Thank you so much for sharing your meditations.

Terry,
Thank you for your kind remarks.
I don't really know if they make any sense, but it helps me.
I would appreciate your prayers.
My family all but Jesse is very intensely sick with the flu. I can hardly type i'm so weak. I know from your blog site you are a man of prayer and the Word. Praise God. I too love the Word of God. I have read the Bible through many, many times from Gen. to Revelations. God reveals so much from honoring the reading of His Word. I think if more people realize how wonderfully God uses it to bless our lives and uses it to bless others also that we would see more people reading the Bible at home.
May God fill you with his love and his righteousness for his holy purposes.
Oh i forget because i was sick and didn't feel up to it i meant to respond to a comment you made about your children not yet being saved and satan using it to cause problems. 1 corintians 7:14 came to my mind where the Bible says for the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean: BUT NOW ARE THEY HOLY. Make a research on this and see what God reveals.
Because God chose you and your wife to have the children you have i believe he is keeping them under his watchful eye from satan's schemes and overruling your home. Continue like you are doing and they will see salvation through your faithful lives. God bless you. Have a blessed day.
